In November 2019, an amendment by the Sejm came into effect that standardizes the VAT rate on photovoltaics regardless of location. The amendment sets the VAT rate at 8% for photovoltaic installations functionally related to a building with an area up to 300 m². This includes, for example, installations on farm buildings or ground installations, which until now were subject to a higher tax rate.
